Internal Family Systems Therapy for Trauma Support
You Don’t Have To Do This Alone
If you’re looking for a space to feel heard, understood and supported, I’m here. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you, it’s about exploring your experiences with curiosity and care, finding new ways to move forward.
If you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, shame, addiction, anger, overwhelm, numbness, dissociation, relationship or family difficulties, low self-worth or patterns you understand intellectually but struggle to change, I’m here to help.
A free introductory conversation gives us a chance to talk briefly about what you’re looking for. There’s no pressure to commit .

About Me
I spend my spare time creating music, doing photography, traveling, surrounding myself in nature, reading books (usually in a hammock) and connecting with both my human and dog friends.
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and have over 12 years of experience as a clinician in community mental health, supporting adolescents, adults and families navigating the lasting effects of trauma and difficult life experiences.
My clinical experience includes working with people experiencing Complex PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, addiction and eating disorders, as well as those navigating emotional overwhelm, dissociation, shame, difficulties often labeled as “personality disorders” and recurring patterns in relationships. I also have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ people, including trans and gender-diverse individuals, adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties and parents navigating challenging child behaviors, attachment difficulties and strained family relationships.
Throughout my career I have worked across a diverse range of services, including the justice system, schools, family violence and sexual assault services, clinical mental health and hospital settings, out-of-home care and child protection, First Nations services, refugee support services and youth and family support services. (professional background and training).
I’m someone who values authenticity, humour and genuine connection. I try to keep therapy as human as possible, without unnecessary jargon or clinical scripts. Just genuine conversations that meet you where you are.
My Journey to Healing and the Work I Do Today
I know first-hand how complex and messy healing can be. My own experiences of trauma growing up shaped not only who I am but also the work I do today. I’ve had to navigate my own inner world, do the deep work of healing and learn what it means to show up for myself. Doing my own work has allowed me to be a self-led, available and attuned therapist, who can truly hold space for others in a way that is grounded, compassionate and present.
After navigating multiple other forms of therapy, it was IFS that finally helped me make sense of my inner experience and supported the most meaningful and lasting change. I have found this same approach to be the most helpful when supporting others, it gives people a way to understand what’s happening inside them with kindness rather than self-blame and helps change unfold in a way that feels safe, steady and lasting.
While IFS is at the heart of my work, I draw on a range of complementary approaches, including AEDP, EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, attachment theory, developmental perspectives, interpersonal neurobiology and Polyvagal Theory. I have also undertaken training in psychedelic preparation and integration and can support people to prepare for and make sense of psychedelic experiences, helping them process what emerges and integrate these experiences into their lives in a thoughtful and grounded way.
My personal journey, along with my professional experience, has given me a deep respect for the courage it takes to seek support.
